Died peacefully at home at the age of 65 years. Dearly loved husband of Danielle Marie Hébert. Dear son of Elizabeth Schermerhorn and the late John and brother of Susan Waddington (Remi) and Mark (Mairead). Dear uncle to Janice, Aidan and Devin. Fondly remembered by cousin Jay Schermerhorn. Son-in-law of Giovanna Hébert and the late Edmour and uncle to Patrick (Lisa) and Chantal (Martin). He will also be missed by his many friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue (at Richmond Road), Ottawa on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 2-4p.m. and 6-8p.m. A service celebrating Daniel's life will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 11:00a.m. with a reception to follow.

As an expression of sympathy donations to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be appreciated.
