Maria Cristina Arcilla, age 47, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2019 due to an aggressive colon cancer with liver metastasis. She was born on February 17, 1971. Beloved wife of Joel Arcilla. Loving and caring mother of Thomas Jay, Cristina Joy and Jawal Patrick.


Maria/Maricris was always a hard worker. She always pushed through any sickness she felt and worked instead to provide her family the best future she can give them. She was a very dedicated mother, taking care of all her three kids, kept them very healthy, always cooking the best home cooked meals, and never stopped spoiling them with her unconditional love. All while giving this unconditional love to her children, her love for Joel Arcilla, was so passionate and tender that it will drive him to stay strong during such hard times.


She was a quiet person and yet, she was able to make very strong relationships with many people. Her loving and caring personality left a deep mark in this earth and to the many people she formed friendships with.


Family and Friends are invited to visit at Holy Cross Parish, 685 Walkley Raod, on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 10:00 am until time of Memorial Mass at 11:00 am. A reception will be held in the basement of Holy Cross Parish after the Mass.
