Obituary for Ethel Ida Malone (nee Simpson)
Peacefully slipped away to dance with the Angels on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 98 years young. Beloved Mother of Bruce (Clo), Bob (Joni), Barbara (Barry). Loving Grandmother of Cory, Brad, Sean, Becky, Jenna, Colleen, Dan, Kelly, and Jami, along with 12 Great-Grandchildren. Predeceased by husband William, son Doug, sisters Dorothy and Violet, and brothers Albert and Charles.
Ethel loved her family and friends, loved to sing and dance, loved the sun and sand, loved to laugh and embrace life. Ethel loved to live and lived to love. She will be very dearly missed and always fondly remembered. The family sincerely thanks Nancy Singian, who provided love, comfort and care.

The family would greatly appreciate you sharing the time(s) you had with her.Friends and family may visit at Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, West Chapel, 150 Woodroffe Ave, Ottawa on Saturday, October 27th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. The memorial service will be held in the West Chapel at 1:00 pm with a reception immediately following at 2:00pm. Departure to Capital Memorial Gardens for internment will occur after the reception. Contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated http://alzheimer.ca/en/Home.
