It’s with saddened hearts that we say farewell to Geoffrey Johnson. Geoff was a pillar of the music community. He touched many lives and his family extended well beyond blood ties. He was loved by people who knew him as a sweet, kind, gentle soul. We will miss his humour, his generous spirit, his musical genius and his vision. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa, on Saturday, August 25th between 2 and 5 pm. Those wishing to say a few words about Geoff may do so. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Plan International‎ Canada: Because I Am a Girl Program. There will also be a memorial to Geoff on Saturday, October 27th at Irene’s to celebrate him at his favourite holiday - Halloween.
