Condolence: So sorry to hear of Bart's passing. My condolences to Greta and all of the family.
Although I haven't seen Bart for many years, he and I have a special connection. We started as TOs at NRC [Low-Speed Aero] at the same time - May 1965 - following our graduations. It was a special time and a great group of people of whom I have fond memories ... Ron Clare, Peter South, John Tanney, Raj Rangi, Jack Templin, Bob Wardlaw, Dickie Moore, Yoshi Nishimura, Leo Smith, Herb Kelland, and so many more.
Bart and I were social as well as work comrades. Many's the weekend evening we spent at the Rib Room in the old Riverside Hotel, laughing and joking with the 'bunnies'. This social connection continued on after our marriages, with parties and other get-togethers. In fact, I believe that my late wife Sylvia was instrumental in Bart and Greta getting together.
Well ... what is life but a series of good memories of family and friends. I shall always treasure those memories of Bart.
