Obituary for Wai Shep Wong
Wai Shep Wong (December 20, 1924 – May 19, 2018)
Peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice, aged 93. Predeceased by his loving wife of 67 years, Yuk Wan Wong (née Kwan) and daughter Patricia, and will be greatly missed by his children Yuen, Tai (Sheila), Theresa (William Yan), and Hank (Jennie); grandchildren Tien (Joyce Ho) and Sanny Wong, Sarah Wong (Thomas Leys) and Scott Wong (Heather), and Justin Yan; and great-grandson Oliver. Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Hacker and the nurses and staff at the Hospice. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor) on Friday, May 25, 2018, 2-4pm and 7-9pm, and Saturday, May 26, 2018, 11am until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1pm. Interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Care Ottawa or the Canadian Cancer Society.
