DASILVEIRA, Jose Bettencourt - Passed away peacefully on December 5, 2017 at the age of 87. Born in the Azores and married to his beloved wife Laura (Lemos) for 65 years. Loving dad to Maggie (Edgar Duarte) and sweet grandpa to Christopher and Ashley (Kyle). Predeceased by siblings Mariana, Alberto, Rosa, Artur, Filipe and Noemia. Survived by Leonor and Jorge. Fondly remembered by his many Nieces and Nephews. Our family would like to thank the staff at Carefor and CCAC for their care and compassion.

Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel, Hulse, Playfair & McGarry 1200 Ogilvie Rd. (at Aviation PKWY) on Sunday December 10, 2017 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm and Monday from 9:30 - 10:30am. Funeral mass will be held at Senhor Santo Cristo Roman Catholic Church 1100 Kenaston Street on Monday December 11th at 11am. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery. Donations in memory of Jose to the CHEO Speech Pathology Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
