Obituary for Miriam Estella Elizabeth Ruby Pearl Woodland (Baker)
WOODLAND, Miriam Estella Elizabeth Ruby Pearl (nee Baker)
Peacefully and surrounded by family on Friday the 18th of August 2017, at the age of 92. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur. Loving mother of Richard (Mary) and Pamela (David Malcomson), all of Spencerville. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, whom she referred to as her pets: Alison, Meredith (Steve), Allan (Kristine) and Elizabeth (Trevor O’Neill). She was the incredibly proud great-gram of Griffin, Hudson and Logan. Survived by her brother Eric Baker (Ann) and sister-in-law Marion (the late Don Baker) and by several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visit on Monday, August 21st from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Spencerville United Church, 16 Centre Street, Spencerville. Funeral services will be held at the Spencerville United Church in the Sanctuary on Tuesday, August 22nd at 2 pm. Burial to follow at Union Cemetery with a reception in the church hall. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to The Art Woodland Endowment Fund, Ottawa Hospital, The Spencerville United Church Memorial Trust Fund or Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care would be appreciated.
