November 28 1954 - April 25, 2017

It is with sad hearts that we announce that Doug passed away Tuesday, April 25th, 2017, at the Montfort Hospital due to complications from COPD.

Beloved husband and closest friend to Darquise Gervais; as well as a very proud and loving father to Michael Seed-Gervais (Caila Simonds). Doug is survived by his father Gerry Seed, brothers Gary, Tom, Bill, Alec and sister Colleen and numerous nieces and nephews from the Gervais - Seed families. Predeceased by his mother Jeanne Nadon. His many friends will miss him very much; his great sense of humour and love of life made him special to many.

Thank you to Dr. Kovacs and the staff at the Montfort Hospital for their compassionate care of Doug over the past couple of years. We will miss you Doug!

Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor) Ottawa, on Saturday, April 29th from 2-4pm.
