Condolences

Condolence From: Barbara Freeman
Condolence: My deep sympathies to her husband, family, friends and colleagues. I have great memories of Marguerite teaching me how to write, edit and voice radio documentaries for Open House, her program on CBC Radio. Afterwards, I passed those skills on to my students in a new radio documentary course in the journalism school at Carleton University. She had a wonderfully open outlook and it was a real pleasure to learn from her.

Condolence From: Sr. Carmen Catellier
Condolence: To Marguerite's family and loved ones.
I was very glad to know Marguerite from my high school in Ste Agathe. Then I did get to know her in our snjm community as well. She was always very bubbly and good to me. I remember her affectionately and have some very good memories of our few times together from the novitiate and on. Then thanks to Sr. Jeannine Vermette I did have an idea of her life which seemed very good.
May the blessing of her life with you be a joy to remember.
In peace Sr. Carmen Catellier (from Dufrost)

Condolence: I would like to express my sympathy to all of Marguerite’s family. Her passing marks I know, an enormous loss for everyone.

I knew Marguerite back in the early 70s in Winnipeg. At that time I was doing a series of broadcasting workshops across the west, helping develop on-air skills and writing styles for radio and television. Marguerite was a rising star in those workshops.

I remember so well, her wit, writing skills, presentation and constant energy. She will be missed by so many of us.

Safe journey Marguerite.
